Pete Cooper and Richard Bolton

We have been making music as a duo for nearly a quarter of a century and are proud to have recorded this, our fourth album, for WildGoose Records. As ever, our set is rooted in English dance tunes, with excursions abroad into other styles, particularly those Pete has studied and shared with his fiddle students over the years.

Pete Cooper: fiddles, voice. Pete plays an English 19th century violin that previously belonged to his inspiring first teacher, Alan D’Agorne (1926-2016).

Richard Bolton: guitar, 7-string guitar, cello, harmony vocals

Raph Mizraki: percussion on Tracks 4 (frame drum, shakers) and 13 (bongos, castanets), and double bass on Track 12
